How to get a refund from a short drama app

If you paid through the App Store, ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com; if you paid through Google Play, start with the app’s developer, which Google says is often the quickest way, or Google Play’s refund request. The apps’ own terms mostly say payments are non-refundable, so the store is usually your best route.

Cancel first

A refund doesn’t stop the next charge. Cancel the subscription in your store first so it doesn’t renew, then ask for the refund.

Paid on iPhone: ask Apple

Apple’s refund steps for App Store purchases and subscriptions:

  • Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Tap “I’d like to”, then choose “Request a refund”.
  • Choose the reason, then Next.
  • Choose the app, subscription or item, then Submit.
  • Apple says to wait 24 to 48 hours for an update; approved money can take longer to reach your payment method.

Paid on Android: the developer or Google

Google Play Help says most Play Store apps are made by third-party developers, that the developer can process refunds under its own policies and the law, and that contacting the developer directly is often the quickest way. Google Play also takes refund requests itself, and says to report unauthorised charges within 120 days.

Tips that help a refund request

  • Ask soon after the charge. Apple asks for the item and reason; Google reviews requests against its policies.
  • Say plainly what happened: “renewed after I deleted the app”, “bought by mistake”, “charged twice”.
  • Have the receipt: Apple suggests searching your email for “receipt from Apple” if you can’t find a charge.
  • Coins you already spent on episodes are the hardest to get back; unused subscriptions you cancelled quickly are the easiest case to make.

Avoiding surprise renewals next time

Every app above sells plans that renew automatically, most of them weekly, and their listings say to cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you subscribe.

On BingeTube there are no coins. A membership unlocks every episode of every series: new members pay $1.99 for the first week, then $9.99 a month. Or buy one series once for $4.99. Prices are in US dollars; a few countries have a lower local price. You cancel online from your Account page.
