Is ReelShort legit and safe?
ReelShort is one of the best-known short drama apps: vertical series in one- to two-minute episodes. If you are about to pay for it, these are the facts you can check, taken only from its App Store and Google Play listings, its website and its terms of use.
Checked on 28 October 2026. BingeTube is an independent service and is not affiliated with ReelShort; this page makes no claims about ReelShort beyond what those sources say.
Who makes ReelShort?
ReelShort’s website (reelshort.com) carries the copyright line of Crazy Maple Studio, Inc., and its terms of use are an agreement with Crazy Maple Studio, Inc., which they say is registered in California, USA, with an office in Sunnyvale. On the App Store and Google Play the app is published by New Leaf Publishing, Inc., whose developer contact on Google Play is a crazymaplestudio.com email address.
Where is it available?
ReelShort is an iPhone and iPad app on the App Store and an Android app on Google Play (100M+ downloads there), and reelshort.com has episode pages. Its App Store listing names English and 21 other languages.
How billing works
Payments in the app go through Apple or Google. You pay with coins to unlock episodes, or with a VIP subscription that its App Store listing says is valid for 7 days, billed weekly and renewed automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal. Its terms say coin purchases and subscription payments are final and non-refundable except where the terms say otherwise.
What its ratings say
On the US App Store ReelShort is rated 4.7 out of 5 from about 517,000 ratings, with an age rating of 13+. On Google Play (US) it is rated 3.8 out of 5 from about 1.96 million reviews, rated Teen. In its public replies to reviews, ReelShort points people to the App Store or Google Play to cancel a subscription, and to daily check-ins and watching ads for free reward coins. Read the reviews yourself on each store before you pay.
And BingeTube?
BingeTube (binge.tube) is an independent service for short drama series: the first episodes of every series are free with a free account, then one $9.99 monthly membership, with no coins and no ads, in any browser. Payments go through Stripe (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay) or PayPal, and you cancel online from your Account page.
