The story of Shared Bride, I'm Sick of Godfather's Love

Sofia, Lorenzo Moretti and Marco Galante grew up as childhood sweethearts. Both young men were heirs to mafia families, and both risked their lives in a duel for her hand. Afraid they would fight again, Sofia turned Lorenzo down and chose Marco. But on the eve of that wedding, newly pregnant and planning a surprise, she caught Marco with Gianna, a struggling student Sofia had been sponsoring. Heartbroken, she wandered through the rain until Lorenzo found her and promised to raise the baby as his own. In the dark days that followed, Sofia lost the baby, and Lorenzo stayed by her side, praying all night in the hospital corridor.

Three years later, Sofia finally marries Lorenzo. Then, in the middle of the wedding banquet, the giant screen shows not their wedding photos but proof of Lorenzo's affair with Gianna. Smiling, Lorenzo whispers that he did it to make Marco taste betrayal, that he has avenged her, and that he and Gianna even bet on whether she would cry or scream.

Lorenzo laughs it off as a joke, carries her off the stage like a puppet, and when she slaps him, tells her gently to smile because it is their wedding day. He insists he has done everything he could for her. Sofia no longer recognizes the man who once loved her more than anything. Humiliated and tangled in a family where love is a weapon, she realizes she has nothing left to lose.
