Plus-Size Bride, Stepmom in Charge

The story of Plus-Size Bride, Stepmom in Charge

Aurora Vitale has been notorious since she was a little girl. Her father could never control her, her stepmother never dared to cross her, and anyone who messed with her paid the price. By twenty-eight, no man in the city wants to marry her, so her family marries her off to Adrian DeMarco, a widowed mafia don.

At the wedding, the guests gossip that the hidden Vitale heiress must be stunning to win Adrian DeMarco. When Aurora walks in, they mock her size, and she dares them to start something. Then Adrian is called away by urgent trouble in the middle of the ceremony. He has already signed the papers, so the marriage stands, and Aurora finishes her own wedding beside his portrait while the guests whisper that he fled at the sight of her. Aurora does not care. She never needed a husband. What she wants is a mansion, an empire and walls high enough to keep her own family out.

At the DeMarco estate, a little girl tugs on her dress and asks if she really has a mom now. Aurora remembers being eight and meeting her own stepmother after her mother died, and she decides to become the mother she never had for Adrian's children, Sophia and Leo. When a woman of the house roughly grabs Sophia for breaking her rules, Aurora steps in and declares that, from today, she is the girl's mother.
