Who makes DramaBox?
DramaBox’s terms of use name STORYMATRIX PTE. LTD., registered in Singapore. The same company is the seller on the App Store and the developer on Google Play, which lists an address at Raffles City Tower, 250 North Bridge Road, Singapore. The App Store copyright line reads “GoStory”. Its support email, on Google Play and on dramaboxdb.com, is feedback@dramabox.com.
Where is it available?
DramaBox is an iPhone app on the App Store and an Android app on Google Play (100M+ downloads there), and dramaboxdb.com has a page for each of its series. Its App Store listing names English and 15 other languages.
How billing works
In the app you pay through Apple or Google, with coins and memberships. Its App Store listing says memberships renew automatically unless renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Its terms of use say all fees are in US dollars and non-refundable, and that coins can only be used in DramaBox.
Ratings, age rating and privacy labels
On the US App Store DramaBox is rated 4.8 out of 5 from about 887,000 ratings, with an age rating of 18+ (it lists frequent mature or suggestive themes). On Google Play (US) it is rated 4.5 from about 5.6 million reviews, rated Teen. In its App Store privacy label, which Apple notes it has not verified, the developer says identifiers and usage data may be used to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. BingeTube (binge.tube) is an independent service for short drama series, with no coins and no ads, in any browser. Episodes 1–5 of every series are free with a free account. A membership unlocks every episode of every series: new members pay $1.99 for the first week, then $9.99 a month. Or buy one series once for $4.99. Prices are in US dollars; a few countries have a lower local price. Payments go through Stripe (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay) or PayPal, and you cancel online from your Account page.
