The Dragonborn

The story of The Dragonborn

The Dragonborn begins with King Sampston facing the threat of the Storm Dragon Clan, which has seized part of his kingdom. The king hopes to forge the ultimate Dragon Soul through his unborn child, but when his son Dua is born soulless—a curse that marks him as unworthy—he is condemned and rejected by the king and the royal court. Despite being the king's flesh and blood, Dua is branded a disgrace and a threat to the lineage.

Selena, the queen, defies the king's harsh judgment and vows to protect Dua. She swears a binding oath to keep him safe, even as both become enslaved under the king's decree. Dua secretly trains under Akatosh, learning to conceal the dragon blood within him. As the Storm Dragon Clan's invasion threatens the kingdom, Dua's hidden power may be its last hope. During a sacred blessing ceremony, Dua faces scorn and rejection from his family and society, but Selena’s belief in his fire clan blood offers a glimmer of hope.

The story sets up a tense conflict between royal rejection and the emergence of a hidden power that could save the kingdom.
