Touch the Don’s Wife, Pay the Price

The story of Touch the Don’s Wife, Pay the Price

Natalie waited seven years for Ethan. Then, on the day they were meant to register their marriage, he had her dragged out of City Hall and brought in his childhood sweetheart, Madison, to sign the papers instead, saying her baby needed a father on paper. Everyone expected Natalie to swallow her pride and keep waiting. Instead, that same night, she flew overseas to go through with an arranged marriage to a mafia don and vanished from Ethan's world.

Three years later, Natalie returns for a family memorial. Her husband, Damon Moretti, is held up by business and sends local men to collect her at the airport. In the arrivals hall she spots a sign with her name, held by none other than Ethan, now risen in a local crew, with Madison and his friends at his side. They are waiting for Mrs. Moretti, the wife the ruthless Don is famous for spoiling. They have no idea she is standing in front of them.

Seeing her in comfortable clothes, pregnant and with no makeup, they mock her as a desperate ex who came crawling back. Ethan offers her a job as Madison's nanny, and Madison claims Natalie's diamond bracelet, the twenty-million-dollar Eternal Heart that Damon bought for her, must be a fake. Ethan tears it from her wrist, scolds her for dropping the Don's name and tries to pay her off with a check. Natalie refuses his money, but anyone who threatens Damon's wife is about to pay dearly.
