Is GoodShort cheaper than ReelShort?

Per week, it can be. GoodShort’s cheapest listed weekly plan is $5.99, against ReelShort’s single $19.99 plan; at the top end both list $19.99 for a week. Over a year of renewals that is $311.48 (52 × $5.99) against $1,039.48 (52 × $19.99).

The App Store shows up to ten purchases per app and does not always say what each weekly tier includes, so open the plan screen in the app and read what the cheapest tier unlocks before you choose it. If you only follow one series now and then, a coin pack can cost less than any weekly plan on either app.

Which has better shows?

That depends on what you like. GoodShort’s own App Store description says most of its series are adapted from novels, in modern romance, CEO and billionaire, son-in-law and “god of war” stories. ReelShort’s catalog covers the same kinds of story. Each app makes or licenses its own titles, so a clip you saw advertised is usually only on the app that ran the ad.

Ads, age ratings and where you can watch

Both apps are rated 13+ by Apple. GoodShort declares advertising on its App Store page, and its terms say the free tier carries ads; ReelShort’s App Store page has no advertising label, but its Google Play listing does, and ReelShort says watching ads is one way to earn reward coins.

Cancelling either app

Both are cancelled in the store you subscribed through: on an iPhone in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, on Android in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app does not stop a subscription.
