The Donna's Choice

The story of The Donna's Choice

Nora has spent five years abiding by her husband Dante's unbreakable rule: no calls after 9 p.m. when he is out on family business. Her loyalty breaks when she narrowly escapes an ambush and Dante coldly dismisses her urgent calls. She later discovers Dante has been secretly communicating every night after nine with Alexa, the Vance family's capo, whom the family expects to stand beside him. Hurt and betrayed, Nora accepts an invitation to an international art exhibition, planning to disappear from his life.

Nora slides divorce papers to Dante, who signs them without hesitation, prioritizing family business over their marriage. She then learns from a hospital report that she is two months pregnant but resolves to leave, believing her child will never know their father. As she prepares to depart, Dante insists there is nothing between him and Alexa, even booking a private yacht to make amends. However, his attentions exclude Nora, signaling the final break. With two days left before she leaves, Nora is determined to reclaim control and make the choice she has long avoided.
