The Don's Wife Stopped Waiting

The story of The Don's Wife Stopped Waiting

After three years of a loveless marriage to a powerful don named Mr. Moretti, who reserves his affection for his first love, the woman finally decides to leave. On the day her divorce is finalized, she packs her belongings, including a nearly empty bank card, and boards a train back to her hometown, determined to start over on her own terms. During the journey, she encounters a young girl abandoned by her mother. Moved by the girl's plight, she decides to take her in.

Settling in a small town called Grant Mousyard, she clears land and plants vegetables and fruit trees to rebuild her life. She names the girl Joy and, six months later, legally adopts her, giving Joy her last name, Hart. Though Joy rarely smiles and often looks at her with a serious expression, the woman finds companionship and a new sense of family. By this time, she has established a home where she is no longer alone, ready to face the future with her daughter.
