His Damp Specter Lover

The story of His Damp Specter Lover

Silas, the sole ruler of the Cormorant clan, survives a crash and becomes obsessed with Idris, a man he first glimpsed in a hallucination during his recovery. Silas abducts Idris and imprisons him in a private estate built solely for him, demanding marriage and punishing Idris when he refuses. Despite Idris's firm rejection, Silas's fixation intensifies, leading to the harm of Idris's sister as leverage to force compliance.

Silas escalates his control by creating a lookalike named Percival, surgically altered to resemble Idris perfectly, even mimicking his mannerisms. This substitute is used to manipulate and torment Idris further. Meanwhile, Percival's background as the son of Roland Ashford, a prominent police commissioner, adds tension, as outsiders consider the estate forbidden and dangerous. Idris remains captive, Silas's obsession deepens, and Percival is positioned as a pawn in Silas's dark game.
