Beast Blood Bond

The story of Beast Blood Bond

Ethan, the last known human, awakens in a land ruled by beastkin—humanoid creatures with animal traits. He quickly discovers that the skill of making fire has been lost to these tribes, leaving them vulnerable to the harsh long winter approaching in 47 days. Ethan's unique talent, Bloodline Site, allows him to see the life force and bloodlines of every living being, a power that sets him apart in this world. He is taken in by the Moon-Brook tribe, a struggling group of beastkin who rely on trading precious meat for fire with the dominant Wolf folk tribe. Without fire, the tribe faces starvation, freezing temperatures, and attacks from wild beasts.

As Ethan learns about the Blood Erosion curse that afflicts the beastkin—transforming them into wild creatures when enraged or wounded—he realizes his own human essence blood may hold the key to curing them. Despite being a former medical student, Ethan must adapt quickly to this new world and its customs. Ethan vows to create fire himself, a feat considered impossible by the tribes, promising to save the Moon-Brook tribe from certain death during the impending winter. The story centers on Ethan's struggle to survive and bring hope to a world on the brink of collapse.
