The Lawyer Who Bankrupted the Airline

The story of The Lawyer Who Bankrupted the Airline

Moria Wayne, a top aviation lawyer and platinum elite member, boards an overbooked flight with her baby. The chief purser, Marlene Kyle, sides with a VIP passenger who demands Moria be removed to avoid delaying the flight. The crew tries to make Moria leave, even attempting to take her baby, but they do not realize they have humiliated a skilled lawyer.

Moria refuses the airline's offer of compensation and rebooking on a later flight, identifying the airline's claim of a system error as a cover for deliberate overbooking to increase profit. The VIP passenger insists Moria be removed, arguing that having a baby does not entitle her to the seat and emphasizing their own VIP status.

The airline crew is under pressure to resolve the conflict quickly, but Moria stands firm, determined to hold the airline accountable for their unfair treatment. The confrontation remains unresolved, setting the stage for Moria's legal challenge against the airline.
