The Lion King's Secret Baby

The story of The Lion King's Secret Baby

In the beast kingdom, the carnivores have long ruled over the herbivores. Lilith is a gentle rabbit girl with a soft, soothing spirit, and while searching for a rare frost herb, she stumbles onto the forbidden grounds of Rex, the tyrant lion king. His frenzy has gone untamed for too long, and everyone warns her that he will tear her apart. Lilith cannot bring herself to leave him to die. To everyone's surprise, she calms him, and they spend one night together.

The next morning, Camilla, a jealous noble who wants Rex for herself, plants a potion and accuses Lilith of drugging the king to climb the royal ladder. Rex believes Camilla, calls Lilith a fraud and banishes her from his realm, threatening to tear her apart if he ever sees her again. Camilla mocks her as nothing but the king's one-night toy.

Lilith secretly gives birth to the first pureblood golden lion heir in a thousand years, a little cub she names Toby. By his first birthday, the lion and rabbit spirits inside him are clashing, and only Duke Wren, the king's brother and royal healer, can help. Afraid Rex will destroy Toby if he learns the truth, Lilith sneaks back into the royal city. Dodging the guards, she lands a job as a nanny with a kind old man who suspects Toby looks just like Rex as a boy, as a royal decree promises the crown to whoever bore the king's heir. Then Rex catches her scent.
