The Don Left Everything to a Kitten

The story of The Don Left Everything to a Kitten

Hazel Quinn is a single mother working as a waitress in Brooklyn, raising her five-year-old daughter, Poppy, who adores her kitten, Princess Meatball. Their quiet life changes when Sebastian Russo, a feared mob boss and Hazel's mysterious regular customer, dies suddenly. At Sebastian's funeral, Hazel faces hostility from his family, especially his sister-in-law Serena Russo, who mistreats Poppy and the kitten. Hazel remembers Sebastian's kindness, including adopting the kitten in Poppy's name to ensure her care.

Sebastian's will shocks everyone by leaving his entire $4.2 billion estate not to his family but to Princess Meatball, with Poppy as the cat's legal owner and Hazel as trustee. This arrangement places Hazel and Poppy at the center of a fierce family conflict, as the Russos try to reclaim the fortune. Moving into the grand Russo mansion under the protection of Tank, Sebastian's loyal driver, Hazel and Poppy face ongoing challenges from Carlo and Serena Russo. The kitten's clear rejection of Carlo signals the family's fractured loyalty. Hazel must protect her daughter and their unexpected inheritance while navigating this dangerous new world.
