The Don's Kept Woman

The story of The Don's Kept Woman

Cleo Marsh is the illegitimate daughter of a man whose business collapsed, leading her father to give her to Damien Shaw, the powerful New York mafia don, as payment for his debt. For three years, Cleo has lived at Damien's estate, treated more like an accessory than a partner, while relying on him to pay for her mother's costly chemotherapy. Despite the cold arrangement, a complicated relationship develops between them, marked by moments of tenderness and tension.

Cleo discovers she is pregnant but fears the harsh consequences for a child born out of wedlock in the Shaw family. Damien senses her distress but does not know the true reason for her recent distance. At a family dinner, Damien publicly asserts his claim over Cleo, defending her against disparaging remarks and signaling a shift in their dynamic. Cleo wrestles with revealing her pregnancy to Damien, fearing how it will change their fragile connection as she navigates the dangerous and emotional world beside the mafia don.
