No One Gets Saved

The story of No One Gets Saved

Layla gave everything to protect those around her, only to be betrayed and left to die in a pit of monsters. Now reborn on the eve of the royal mage trials, which occur once every seven years, she is determined to live differently. In her previous life, she sacrificed herself to save Sharon and Kyle but ended up dead. This time, Layla refuses to hand over her time-firefly, a magical device that serves as both an entry pass and an alarm for the trials.

Her refusal causes conflict with Sharon and the others, who believe Layla is being selfish and endangering the group. Sharon urges everyone to trust her and submit their time-fireflies so they can all get a good night's sleep before the trials. Kyle is caught in the middle, sometimes siding with Sharon. Tensions escalate as Layla stands firm against pressure and manipulation, determined not to repeat the mistakes of her past life.

As the trials approach, Layla faces isolation and threats but remains resolute in protecting her own future. The story follows her struggle to rewrite her destiny and confront the harsh cost of kindness in a ruthless world.
