Ethan Cross, the eldest son of the Cross family, was presumed dead after three years trapped in the deadly lunar swarm on the far side of the moon. Despite being only a C-Class White pilot, Ethan survived while his younger brother Adrian used a flawed enhancer formula to appear as an S-Class Red pilot. Their father chose Adrian over Ethan during a critical evacuation, deepening the family conflict.

Ethan returns to find his mother Eleanor and close ally Sophia, but the Federation, led by Commander Marcus, suspects Ethan is a dangerous mimic sent by the alien swarm.
