Kneel! I'm the Son of Zeus

The story of Kneel! I'm the Son of Zeus

When a war between the gods spills into the mortal world, Apollo, the sun god and son of Zeus, turns the tide and saves Athens. Grateful and desperate, the kings of Troy, Athens and Thessaly swear to marry their daughters to their savior. But the man who rescued them walked among mortals as a lowly stable boy, and five years later the whole realm still laughs that the three princesses, the jewels of the mortal world, are promised to a carriage driver.

At the Festival of the Sun, the royal families arrive at the temple expecting the high priest's blessing, sure the stable boy would never dare show his face. Apollo comes anyway, not to claim his brides but to end the betrothals. He plans to leave each kingdom the sun's grace as amends and to marry Daphne at the festival instead.

Princess Katrina, Princess Nora and Princess Cleo treat him with open scorn. He is told he does not belong in the temple, that saving their father earned gratitude, not a princess's hand, and that one of them deserves a king or even a god, not a stable boy. Apollo calmly accepts. Then High Priest Severus announces that by Lord Apollo's will, Troy, Athens and Thessaly will each receive the sun's grace, three miracles for three kingdoms. When the royals mock the stable boy, Severus orders them to kneel, and kneels before him himself, as Apollo reveals that the gifts were his.
