The God-King Returns: Too Late to Beg

The story of The God-King Returns: Too Late to Beg

Ares, the God-King who sealed away the demons a thousand years ago, returns to the Holy Light realm to claim the marriage pact promised to him by the six races. Despite his legendary status, he is met with disdain and rejection by the five brides he was promised, who now see him as a lowborn peasant unworthy of their hand. The brides, representing the six races, have grown powerful and independent, refusing to honor the ancient contracts that once bound their ancestors.

When a true Demon God from the Abyss appears and threatens the realm, Ares single-handedly defeats it, proving his enduring power. However, the brides remain skeptical and demand to break off the engagements, believing the contracts to be obsolete and meaningless. Ares warns them that breaking the pact will bring a divine curse upon the six races, but they dismiss his threats. As tensions rise, the realm stands on the brink of conflict, with Ares determined to uphold the ancient covenant and protect the realm from the returning demonic threat.
