Definitely Not The Dragon God

The story of Definitely Not The Dragon God

Aris is a lowly servant at the academy, feared and avoided by dragons because his blood terrifies them. When a legendary dragon egg unexpectedly hatches in his presence, it reveals that Aris is the dragon god's chosen, a secret that threatens the academy's leadership. Mr. Thorn, who raised Aris, warns him to keep his identity hidden to protect both Aris and the academy.

After the egg hatches, Aris learns that his blood both repels dragons and is essential to the dragon's survival. Mr. Thorn instructs him to take the egg to Duke Caspian Valmont, a renowned dragon healer and leader of the Obsidian Order, who might save the dragon and help Aris become a rider. At the Valmont stronghold, Aris encounters political tension and a power struggle within the Obsidian Order. The Duke, gravely injured, is the only one who can help Aris and the dragon, but his life is at risk. Meanwhile, Aris faces threats from those who want to control or eliminate him.

The story follows Aris as he protects the dragon egg and himself while uncovering the truth about his bloodline and the forces vying for control over the realm's dragons.
