The Five Year Old Failure is the Strongest Dragon Rider

The story of The Five Year Old Failure is the Strongest Dragon Rider

Ian is the youngest son of House Valerian, one of the five great houses of dragon riders. His siblings are all gifted: Cade leads the night formation, Lucas excels in dragon breath combat, Lena masters ancient dragonlings, and Cole can soothe wormlings. Ian, however, is seen as a failure who cannot tame dragons or write his own name. Unknown to others, Ian is the reincarnation of the Dragon Emperor Isorn, who ruled the continent for seventy years before dying from exhaustion. In this new life, Ian desires only a quiet, easy existence filled with rest and cookies.

Despite his wish for peace, Ian faces harsh treatment from his father and others who fear the royal delegation's inspection of their defenses. While his siblings strive to impress the crown, Ian is locked in a freezing underground vault to hide his perceived weakness. At the end of episode three, his sister Lena rescues him from the vault just as the royal delegation is expected to arrive, setting the stage for conflict between Ian's hidden strength and his family's expectations.
