Ava Miller, a children's nurse from the modern world, suddenly finds herself in a kingdom of dragons where she can understand the thoughts of baby dragons. Despite being a human with no scales or magic, she is allowed to participate in a trial to care for the little prince, Knox, who is constantly crying and in distress. The royal family forbids anyone from touching Knox, but Ava uses her medical knowledge to tend to his injuries and tries to find the cause of his suffering.

Ava faces hostility from the dragon clans, especially Maris, who blames her for Knox’s condition. She discovers that Knox is allergic to the traditional golden dragon milk, a fact unknown to the royal healers. Through testing, Ava proves the allergy and offers an alternative milk that does not cause Knox discomfort. Her success earns her a chance to prove herself during a critical 100-day trial, where she must feed Knox and help him sleep while overcoming royal distrust and tradition. Ava’s unique ability to communicate with baby dragons and her determination to heal the prince set the stage for her journey in the dragon kingdom.
