Help Everyone Looks Like a Chicken Except Him

The story of Help Everyone Looks Like a Chicken Except Him

Lily has a rare face phobia that causes her to see every human face as a screaming rubber chicken, a coping mechanism developed after intensive hypnotherapy. She keeps this secret from her boyfriend Blake Collins, who ultimately sends his friend Alexander Sterling to break up with her after finding an old photo of Lily and changing his mind about their relationship. When Alexander meets Lily, she is shocked to see his real human face instead of the usual chicken image, marking the first time in years she can clearly see a human face.

Alexander explains he never intended to impersonate Blake but wanted to speak honestly with Lily. Concerned about her condition, Lily's parents take her and Alexander to Dr. Ria, who confirms that Lily's brain still replaces faces with the chicken image except for Alexander's. This breakthrough suggests that Lily's condition might be treatable if she spends more time around Alexander. Despite his busy schedule preparing for a collegiate hackathon, Alexander agrees to help Lily gradually adjust to seeing real faces again. The story follows Lily's struggle to overcome her phobia and the unexpected support she receives from Alexander.
