Wrong Match, Right Crush

The story of Wrong Match, Right Crush

Nora, a college freshman, admires Theo Morton, the captain of the university basketball team. Trying to contact him, she mistakenly adds Beckett, the campus's wealthy and notorious playboy, on social media instead. Over three months of late-night chats, Nora and Beckett develop a genuine connection, though Beckett believes he is talking to Chloe, Nora's roommate and the cheer captain. When they finally meet, Beckett realizes the mix-up and coldly rejects Nora, insisting they unfriend each other and keep the mistake secret.

Despite the rejection, Beckett offers Nora $50,000 to maintain the secrecy, which she reluctantly accepts. Nora struggles with her feelings, knowing Beckett's affections were actually for Chloe. Beckett then contacts Chloe, and their relationship begins to develop, leaving Nora feeling isolated and heartbroken. However, Beckett's final message to Nora hints at unfinished business, mentioning a medicine shipment and suggesting they wait before completely cutting ties.
