Buried Sacrifice

The story of Buried Sacrifice

Scarlett and Dante's complicated past resurfaces when they unexpectedly meet again at a luxury hotel in Manhattan. Scarlett now works at the hotel's front desk, while Dante, the powerful godfather of the Vitale mafia, arrives with his girlfriend and demands special treatment. Despite their bitter history, Scarlett is forced to comply with Dante's unreasonable requests, revealing the tension and unresolved feelings between them.

Three years earlier, after the old Don's death, Dante was gravely ill and on the brink of death. His girlfriend betrayed him during his ICU stay by cheating with his father's favorite illegitimate son. An anonymous donor saved Dante's life, but the public branded Scarlett a gold-digger for siding with Dante's half-brother and for the kidney donation she made. Flashbacks show their initial meeting when Scarlett was a college student and Dante courted her with lavish generosity, unaware of the full extent of his mafia family's influence.

The audience understands the complexity of their relationship and the misunderstandings that have shaped their lives. Past sacrifices and betrayals continue to affect their present, setting the stage for a story of revenge and redemption.
