I Abandoned Our Dream College After Being His Second Choice

The story of I Abandoned Our Dream College After Being His Second Choice

Jennifer Vaughn and Ian Lance have been childhood sweethearts who planned their future together, including attending university side by side. However, Ian's promise to his late brother leads him to prioritize Mona Hayes, a delicate and seemingly helpless girl, over Jennifer. When Ian takes Mona on a graduation trip they had all planned to share, Jennifer feels abandoned and decides to change her university plans, choosing to study far away in the Southern Hemisphere to escape the pain.

Despite Ian's attempts to explain that Mona needs his support and that he thought Jennifer would understand, Jennifer grows increasingly resentful as Ian continually puts Mona's needs before hers. Ian's gestures of apology, including gifts and promises, only deepen Jennifer's feelings of being second choice. Jennifer firmly rejects the idea of attending university with Ian, signaling a fracture in their long-standing relationship. Mona's tentative presence and apology at the door hint at further complications in this tense love triangle.
