Betrayed by Husband and Best Friend: I Sent Them to Prison

The story of Betrayed by Husband and Best Friend: I Sent Them to Prison

Ava, a devoted housewife, moves with her family to Minneapolis, hoping for a fresh start. One winter day, after finishing some outdoor work in light clothing, she finds herself locked out of her home by her own son, Cole, who coldly refuses to let her in despite the freezing weather. Ava is shocked and heartbroken by Cole's cruelty, especially as she realizes that her husband Derek and her mother-in-law Marjorie are complicit in the betrayal.

As Ava endures the cold outside, she watches helplessly as Derek welcomes Lena, her visibly pregnant best friend, into the house with warmth and care. Lena, who had previously been advised by Ava to terminate her pregnancy due to her unreliable boyfriend Marcus, instead keeps the baby on Derek's encouragement. The family’s betrayal is complete when Ava sees them all acting as a close-knit unit, while she remains isolated and abandoned. Ava resolves to break free from this toxic environment and build a life of her own, setting the stage for her journey of revenge and self-empowerment.
