Lorenzo Moretti, notorious for his rebellious youth and feared by many, is sold by his own family to marry Valentina Romano, the matriarch of a powerful mafia clan. Despite being mocked and underestimated for his appearance at the wedding, Lorenzo accepts the marriage contract not for love but to secure the Romano estate and protect himself from his own family. Upon entering the Romano manor, he encounters Valentina's two children, Luca and Amelia, who have been mistreated, and decides to take on the role of their father, promising to protect them.

As Lorenzo navigates the hostile environment of the Romano household, he faces scorn and skepticism but remains determined to assert his authority and safeguard the children. The marriage is official despite Valentina's abrupt departure from the wedding, leaving Lorenzo to manage the estate and the complex family dynamics alone.
