Swapped at the Altar

The story of Swapped at the Altar

Sophia DeLuca is the favored older sister of the DeLuca family, while her younger sister, who was once called Kitty during a difficult childhood, has only recently reclaimed her birth name, Sophia. Their father, the mafia Don, arranges a double marriage alliance with the Romano family, offering each sister a choice between two powerful grooms: Gabriel Romano, the older son raised to be the future Don, and Marco Romano, the younger son who earned his position through strength and loyalty.

Initially, Sophia chooses Gabriel, the more prestigious match, while Kitty quietly accepts Marco, feeling like the lesser choice. However, the Romano Don unexpectedly names Marco as the new underboss, passing over Gabriel. Sophia is devastated and withdraws into despair. Meanwhile, Kitty, encouraged by Gabriel's kindness and support, begins to find her own strength. Kitty decides to marry Gabriel, embracing the chance to assert herself and stop being the one who loses.

The story follows Kitty's journey from a neglected servant-like figure to a woman ready to claim her place beside a powerful man, challenging the family expectations and rivalries that have long defined her life.
