Reborn in the Ice: Infinite Upgrades

The story of Reborn in the Ice: Infinite Upgrades

When the world freezes, a fortress takes in only four members of each family. Eli Mercer hunts down the beast core that buys the Mercer family its place, only for his parents, his younger brother Noah and his fiancée Vanessa to lock him outside. Noah is the family's future, they tell him, and as the eldest Eli must take the fall one last time. They strip him of his gear and remove him from the clan, leaving him to freeze to death.

Eli wakes up on the first day of the Eternal Frost Era, when a survival system awakens a random talent in every survivor. Noah gets a rank A talent that boosts everything his clan gathers; Eli gets a rank F cold resistance, and his family plans to send him outside to do all the hard, dangerous work. This time Eli refuses. He calls off his wedding to Vanessa, takes the gear that is his, and walks away from them for good.

His family is sure he will crawl back before the first night is over. What they don't know is that Eli has also awakened a hidden talent that can enhance anything, including itself, and he soon raises it to the world's only God-tier power.
