In Her Name

The story of In Her Name

Nora is discharged from a locked psychiatric hospital where she was committed after a violent incident defending her twin sister, Claire, from a bully. Claire was the only person who never gave up on Nora, writing to her every week and visiting on birthdays. When Nora returns, she finds Claire severely bullied by a clique of wealthy classmates, including Victoria Ashford, whose powerful family intimidates everyone. A cruel video surfaces showing Claire humiliated and surrounded by classmates filming her, leading to Claire being hospitalized unconscious and possibly paralyzed.

Nora’s father confronts the school, demanding an investigation, but the school downplays the bullying to avoid conflict with the Ashford family, who are major shareholders in the company that runs the school. Nora’s family is too afraid to fight back openly. Determined to seek justice, Nora decides to impersonate Claire at their prestigious school. She changes her appearance, studies Claire’s mannerisms, and with her parents’ reluctant support, plans to uncover the truth and gather proof against those responsible. Nora resolves to face the bullies herself, using her own troubled past and fierce determination to protect her sister’s name.
