Betrayal on Beach Court

The story of Betrayal on Beach Court

Carmen Lopez is a professional beach volleyball player who has always put her twin sister Sylvia first. Although Carmen is the older twin, she has consistently given way to Sylvia in life and sport. On the eve of a crucial world championship semi-final, Carmen unknowingly drinks a sweet beverage laced with a colorless, odorless drug that damages her knees severely, ending her ability to compete. The injury is later revealed to be caused by Sylvia, who secretly drugs Carmen to sabotage her and then wins the title with a rival partner, Brazil's star player Julia.

After emergency surgery and enduring intense pain, Carmen watches from her hospital bed as Sylvia and Julia celebrate their championship victory. The trust between the sisters is broken, and Carmen resolves to rebuild her body and study Sylvia's weaknesses from a distance. The story begins with Carmen's quiet suffering and determination to reclaim her life and career, setting the stage for a tense tale of betrayal and revenge.
