Betrayed by My Dragon, Back with Twin Phoenixes

The story of Betrayed by My Dragon, Back with Twin Phoenixes

Aleric Veyl, once the most gifted common-born beastmaster at Auret Academy, faces a devastating betrayal when his bonded dragon, Aira, turns against him during the Crown Trials, siding with his rival, Celis, the headmaster's son. Severely injured by Aira's attack, Aleric becomes an outcast, struggling with the academy's disdain and the painful loss of trust. Despite his wounds and the academy's scorn, he remains defiant, rejecting the pity and help offered by others, including Aira, who insists she acted to protect him from worse consequences.

As Aleric recovers, tensions rise between him and Aira, highlighting their complicated bond and conflicting loyalties. Aleric's pride and determination prevent him from accepting aid, even as he uncovers the academy's favoritism and underhanded tactics against him. Aleric grapples with his feelings of betrayal and the harsh realities of the academy's politics, setting the stage for his return as the enigmatic Moonshadow Rider with new legendary phoenixes. His goal is clear: to win the crown and reveal the dark secret hidden beneath the academy's mountains.
