The story of His Desire Rating for Me is 9 Wait 10 Isn't the Max

Sawyer, a high school cheerleader, suddenly gains a mysterious ability through an app that lets her see a "desire score" above people's heads, indicating how strongly they are drawn to her. Excited and hopeful, she checks the score above her boyfriend Adrian's head, only to find it is a nine, which leaves her confused and a bit disappointed since she expected a perfect ten. Despite her long-standing crush on Adrian, he remains emotionally distant, refusing to show typical couple behaviors like kissing or holding hands.

Adrian's cold reaction to Ryder's presence adds to the unease.
