He Threw a Dying Rogue at My Feet—He Was the Lycan King

The story of He Threw a Dying Rogue at My Feet—He Was the Lycan King

Selene's mating ceremony ends in humiliation when Declan, her chosen mate, walks out on her, leaving behind his hidden pup and a barely living rogue chained at her feet. Declan departs for the border territories, expecting Selene to care for the pup, Asher, and the injured rogue alone. Over six years, Selene raises Asher, who grows into a formidable young wolf, impressing the pack with his strength and skill despite not yet being able to shift.

When Declan returns with his cousin Taliah, now the Luna, he expects Selene and Asher to fall back into their old roles. However, Selene has risen far above Declan's expectations and refuses to be treated as a leftover or subordinate. Conflict escalates as Declan tries to reclaim control over Selene and Asher, claiming the boy as his own and insisting he belongs with them.

Selene fiercely protects her son, leading to confrontations that reveal Asher's growing power and the deepening rift between the characters. Declan's grip on Selene causes her pain, and Asher reacts fiercely to defend his mother. The story follows Selene's struggle to assert her independence and protect her son, who carries royal blood, against Declan's attempts to dominate them both.
