Don't Mess with Grandma

The story of Don't Mess with Grandma

Eleanor Grant, a silver-haired matriarch, has spent 30 years supporting her son's family through her hard work and wealth, quietly chairing a billion-dollar foundation that funded their home, company, and even her granddaughter's education abroad. Despite her sacrifices, Eleanor faces constant disrespect and mockery from her son Wayne, his wife, and their daughter Joy, who openly insult her and dismiss her as an old woman who only cooks and cleans. The family often switches to German to exclude her from conversations, deepening the divide.

Fed up with the humiliation and lack of gratitude, Eleanor decides to reclaim everything she provided, threatening to leave her family homeless. After a final bitter family dinner, she walks out, determined to live independently despite having no immediate resources or place to go. She checks into a luxury hotel, signaling a fresh start. Meanwhile, her family, especially Wayne, remains confident she will return broken and apologetic. The tension escalates as the family prepares for an important investment gala tied to Eleanor's foundation, where her influence and power will soon be on full display. The story begins with Eleanor’s quiet strength and the brewing conflict between her and the family she once supported.
