They Saved Everyone But Me

The story of They Saved Everyone But Me

Alyssa Miller is the overlooked daughter of the Miller family, left behind during a devastating fire that destroys their home. While her parents carry her siblings Evan and Ava to safety, Alyssa remains trapped in the flames and suffers severe burns. After the fire, her parents focus their love and attention on Evan and Ava, leaving Alyssa feeling abandoned and invisible.

Despite her physical scars and pain, Alyssa is treated as a troublemaker rather than a victim. Her mother dismisses her suffering and demands she apologize to Ava, who accidentally worsened Alyssa's wound. Alyssa pulls away from her mother’s attempts at reconciliation, recognizing that the affection she receives is only a small, conditional scrap. She struggles with the emotional wounds of neglect while her siblings remain unaware of her pain.

The story follows Alyssa’s journey as she confronts a family that never truly chose her, seeking her own path beyond their neglect and the scars left by the fire.
