Dragonheart Unbound

The story of Dragonheart Unbound

Dragonheart Unbound follows Edmund, the last dragon who can still take his true form despite an ancient icy curse that traps the Dragon Clan in human bodies. His mother reveals that brute force and magic cannot break the curse; only a miraculous power born from the union of the Dragon Clan and humankind—love—can do so. Edmund is sent to find this love, specifically the daughter of Sevelin, whose hand was promised to him twenty years ago.

Edmund journeys to the Khan Empire, where Frost Giant magic has encased the palace in ice. He encounters Princess Alizia, who scorns him and refuses to acknowledge dragons. After tensions and insults, Alizia’s mother, Queen Selena Khan, pledges loyalty to Edmund in hopes of saving the empire. Despite Alizia’s hostility and vow of revenge, Edmund remains determined. Edmund arrives at Veland Manor to honor his engagement to Marta Veland, facing hostility from the manor’s residents and officials, including Sir Otto. Edmund’s quest centers on uniting dragon and human through love to restore the Dragon Clan’s power and change their fate.
