The Wrong Cub

The story of The Wrong Cub

Selene mourns the death of her pup, who was thrown from a window by her niece Raven Blackwood and a group of friends while he slept. Raven faces little consequence due to her status as a pup and the pack's lenient attitude. Selene's grief is dismissed by her mate Damian Blackwood and the Luna Margaret Bailey, who prioritize Raven's future over justice. Selene dies of a broken heart but then awakens on the day of the moon gathering, determined to change the past. She sends her son away to safety but witnesses another baby being thrown from the window, leaving her shocked and confused about the child's identity.

In the following days, Selene confronts Raven, who remains unapologetic and indifferent. The pack enforcers refuse to intervene, citing their policy of not arresting pups. Selene's desperation grows as she faces the pack's dismissive attitude and Raven's cruelty. Selene vows to seek justice for her son Niko, while Raven coldly dismisses the tragedy, calling the dead pup a mutt. The story centers on Selene's fight to protect her family and demand accountability within the pack.
