The Mafia Boss’s Soul Chose Me

The story of The Mafia Boss’s Soul Chose Me

Delia has been an outcast in her family because she can see ghosts, while her adopted sister Rosalind is favored and engaged to mafia boss Atticus Vancroft. After Atticus is left in a coma from a car crash, their stepmother, Mrs. Vancroft, insists Rosalind honor the engagement, but Rosalind refuses. Seeing a chance to escape her difficult life, Delia volunteers to marry Atticus instead, motivated by a promise from Atticus's ghost who offers her twenty million dollars if she stays by his side.

Delia takes on the role of caretaker, despite the challenges of attending to a comatose Atticus. She learns from the ghost that Atticus's soul is disconnected from his body and that waking him will require patience and daily interaction. As Delia reads market reports and cares for him, she gradually gains Atticus's trust, while Rosalind's absence and disdain become more apparent. Atticus shows signs of improvement, and Delia chooses to stay close, solidifying her unusual marriage and beginning a complex journey with the mafia boss's soul.
