The First Dragon Awakens

The story of The First Dragon Awakens

Queen Elara gives birth to a child prophesied to carry the power of the Progenitor Dragon, but the egg is black instead of golden. King Theron and others accuse Elara of infidelity, claiming the child is a slave's offspring and a disgrace to the royal family. Despite Elara's insistence that the child is the true heir, the kingdom rejects him.

Elara faces threats from the king and nobles who want the child dead. In a desperate act, King Theron burns his own dragon core to save the baby, sacrificing his ability to transform into a dragon. The child is stripped of royal status and declared a slave, while Elara is humiliated and cast out. The boy, named Kael, is left to survive in exile.

Raised by the Dragon King Milos, Kael grows up to awaken the power of the Primordial Dragon. The kingdom that once condemned him will soon tremble before his rising power.
