The Cost of a Prank

The story of The Cost of a Prank

Helen is the class president of a high school senior class preparing for their graduation trip. The popular cheer captain, Chloe Cole, plans a prank where many students carry clear bags filled with flour through airport security to cause a commotion and film the reactions for social media. Helen, responsible for organizing the trip, strongly opposes the prank due to its potential legal consequences and tries to stop it by alerting parents and warning classmates.

Afterward, Helen is pushed off a rooftop by angry classmates. Helen then finds herself reliving the moments before the prank, determined to prevent the disaster. However, her warnings are met with ridicule and pressure from her peers, including Dylan, Chloe's childhood sweetheart, who urges her to stop interfering.

The group chat turns hostile as classmates pressure Helen to participate. Despite this, Helen remains resolute in refusing to consent to the prank, aware that her resistance has made her the target of the class's anger. She focuses on preserving evidence to prevent the prank's consequences from repeating.
