I Kissed the Tyrants Statue

The story of I Kissed the Tyrants Statue

Olivia, a modern archaeologist, has spent three years researching King Sebastian, a tyrant who vanished mysteriously three centuries ago. After a final kiss to his statue, she is transported back to 1714, waking in Sebastian's royal bedchamber. Confused and frightened, Olivia struggles to convince the king she is not a witch, fearing the severe punishments of the time.

King Sebastian is skeptical of Olivia's story and treats her as a captive rather than a guest. His four favorites—Celili, Marissa, Vivienne, and Eliza—and his son, Louise, observe her with disdain, mocking her appearance and forcing her into humiliating situations to assert their power. Despite Sebastian's harsh reputation, Olivia remains defiant, refusing to submit to the humiliations imposed by the king and his court.

The story follows Olivia's struggle to survive the dangerous royal court and find a way back to her own time while confronting the brutal realities of the past.
