SSS-Rank: The Slum-Born Beast Master Returns

The story of SSS-Rank: The Slum-Born Beast Master Returns

Kale Voss, a gifted beast master born in the slums and the only SSS class student in a century at Aegis Academy, faces a devastating betrayal during the Crown trial, a prestigious tournament held once every ten years. His bonded dragon, Moro, unexpectedly turns on him during the final match, attacking Kale to protect Adrian Veil, the son of Dean Cassian Veil. Despite being critically injured, Kale survives and discovers that Moro has been secretly aiding Adrian, teaching him Kale's battle patterns and ultimately helping him win the crown.

As Kale recovers, he confronts the painful truth of his broken bond and the betrayal by both his beast and the Academy's elite. Dean Cassian Veil proposes a harsh but pragmatic solution: since bonds cannot be forced, Moro should be released to Adrian, with whom she shares true compatibility. Kale stands at a crossroads, grappling with loss and humiliation but determined to rise stronger as the Academy's fiercest tournament begins. The story follows Kale's journey to reclaim his honor and power, proving that the one who seemed defeated was actually being held back.
