One Year to Love the Beast

The story of One Year to Love the Beast

Eve, a young woman from the Winter family, is sacrificed by her relatives to Kale, the King of Gloomwood, a ruler cursed and trapped in the dark forest he once protected. The curse can only be broken by true love, and Eve is given the daunting task of becoming his bride to uphold her family's honor. Despite her fear and reluctance, she is taken to Kale's domain, where she meets the handsome but cursed king who has been waiting centuries for his destined bride.

Kale reveals that many brides have come before Eve but none stayed, as they were frightened and left quickly. However, Eve is different; she ignites a passion in Kale that no one else has. The king explains that the prophecy foretells his true bride would come from the Winter family, making Eve his only hope to break the curse. He proposes a deal: if Eve can bear his child within one year, he will break the curse and set her free with wealth. If she fails, he will be forced to eat her. At the end of episode three, Eve faces the terrifying reality of her situation but holds onto the hope of finding true love and survival. The story centers on Eve's race against time to discover if the beast is her fated mate and if she is meant for him.
