The story of Imprisoned in a Potato Hut: My Son Drove the Crime Lord Mad

The story begins with a woman abandoned by Godfather Damian Morelli, who locks her away in a cold, abandoned house on the estate while she is pregnant. Misled by Morelli's childhood sweetheart Freya Ashford, who accuses her of betrayal and causes the death of the woman's brother Ethan, she endures three harsh Chicago winters surviving on little more than potatoes. Alone, she secretly gives birth to her son Nico and raises him in hiding, with only a few loyal staff members like Enzo and Mrs. Rico aware of their secret.

As Nico grows, his resemblance to Godfather Morelli becomes more apparent, threatening to expose their hidden existence. Freya's increasing hostility leads to more frequent visits by her agents, damaging the potato crops that symbolize the woman's fragile hope. When Nico falls dangerously ill with a high fever, the mother risks everything to bring him to the clinic, defying the strict rules of the estate.
