Identity Zero

The story of Identity Zero

At Blackwood Special Operations Academy, cadets must abandon their civilian identities and follow strict rules, including a ban on using real names. The academy enforces discipline through collective punishment, emphasizing unity and obedience. The story focuses on a rigid officer who enforces these rules without compromise and a defiant cadet known by the call sign Apex, who resists conforming.

From the start, Apex refuses to reveal any real name and questions the officer's authority. The officer responds with strict punishments and challenges, including solitary obstacle course runs and physical training tests, escalating their battle of wills. Apex continues to defy the officer's commands, questioning the rules and the officer's decisions, setting the stage for an ongoing power struggle between individuality and conformity in a place where identity is erased and control is absolute.
