He Sold My Home So I Sold Our Marriage

The story of He Sold My Home So I Sold Our Marriage

Nora and her husband Grant plan to move to Maine to restore her grandmother's old inn, a dream Nora has cherished since childhood. However, Nora overhears Grant secretly arranging to sell the inn behind her back so he can be with his former love, Cassidy Monaco, who has moved to Denver and whose boutique is struggling. Grant believes Nora will follow him once he signs a lease in Denver, but Nora feels betrayed and decides to honor her grandmother's promise instead.

As tensions rise, Nora realizes Grant no longer shares their dream of revitalizing the inn. Grant describes Nora as the steady, practical wife who keeps the household running but lacks passion, while Cassidy makes him feel alive. Nora recalls the promise Grant made years ago on the inn's porch, which he has now abandoned. When Grant prepares to finalize the sale, Nora visits Ruth Ellison, her grandmother's longtime attorney, who reveals that her grandmother revised the trust shortly before she passed, suggesting possible protections for the inn.

Nora stands determined to protect her inheritance and the promise she believed in, even as Grant moves forward with selling the property and pursuing Cassidy.
