Feeding the Dragon's Desire

The story of Feeding the Dragon's Desire

On the Magic Continent, humans live beneath magical creatures ruled by the Dragon King Xerthos, a powerful and mysterious figure cursed with a deadly affliction. Vera, a human widow, seeks work as a wet nurse at the Unfallen Palace to afford rare medicine for her sick infant son, Toby, who unknowingly carries dragon blood.

At the palace, Vera faces hostility from the magical elites, especially Lacyn, an aristocratic elf and rival candidate for the wet nurse position. Despite prejudice and danger, Vera's determination to save her son drives her to endure the palace's trials. Meanwhile, Xerthos desperately searches for a woman who can break his curse, unaware that Vera holds the key to his survival.

Vera and Lacyn are the final candidates for the wet nurse role, with Vera catching the Dragon King's attention. This sets the stage for a complex bond shaped by fate and the intertwining of human and dragon destinies.
